Join us on an unforgettable 3-stop petroglyph adventure hike right here on the west side of Tucson, Arizona. We'll kick things off with a short trek through the rugged desert, uncovering ancient rock art that'll have you talking with the spirits of the past. Next up, we'll drive to Saguaro National Park West where we’ll take a short hike to a place where the petroglyphs spin tales of days gone by. You’ll learn about the mysteries behind these ancient drawings, and we'll have an adventurous time exploring the desert landscape. Lastly we’ll drive to a trail that winds up a wash for just over a mile to reach an amazing little-known site surrounded by petroglyphs carved by indigenous people over one thousand years ago!
This adventure includes transportation, bottled water and snacks for the journey AND LUNCH at a local restaurant after the last hike.
Must be able to hike 2+ miles and be fit enough to climb a ladder without assistance.
